This is sad I know: I have watched walkthroughs for almost all of the Zelda games. Why you might ask? I WAS BOARD! And even sadder- I realized that only in these three do Link and Zelda get to be together:
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
-The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
-The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
I also noted while I was searching for the game titles that there is not ONE time line for these games, But THREE! All as alternative endings to the  Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time game. I love it- but, what the heck? Three different Endings? Is that seriously necessary?
Quoted by the IGN Website: wii.ign.com/articles/121/12153…
"The first, which we'll call Timeline A, assumes Link actually fails to stop Ganon. How or why this is a logical storyline path is a bit lost on us, because the game resolves that battle..."
"...the next path, Timeline B, works from the presented ending of Ocarina of Time, featuring Link returning to live through his childhood. As we all know, Majora's Mask picks up shortly after Ocarina's ending..."
"One more timeline for you. This one starts with Ganon's defeat in the Ocarina of Time era, and progresses from there - from the time that Link advanced and eventually left so he could be a child once again."

This concludes my rant...
